Man arrested over Chatham stabbing attack

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a man who was stabbed in Kent.

The victim, believed to be in his late 20s, suffered stab wounds to his leg in the attack in Bryant Street, Chatham.

He is being treated for serious injuries in hospital, where his condition has been described as stable.

Kent Police said a 22-year-old man from Chatham was on held suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday and was being questioned.
