Man carried on car bonnet for 100m in East Malling

A man was carried for about 100 metres on the bonnet of a car as it left a Kent pub car park.

The 36-year-old man got off the bonnet of the car which had been driven from the King and Queen, New Road in East Malling at about 11:00 GMT on Sunday.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and assault and released on bail until 12 January.

The man was not injured. The police have appealed for witnesses.
