Two men killed in Kent road crashes

Two men have died in two separate road crashes in Kent in one day.

A 39-year-old man from the Ramsgate area died when his lorry overturned on the M25 slip road to the A21 at Sevenoaks, at 15:30 GMT on Thursday.

A 32-year-old man from London died in hospital after his car crossed the central reservation on the A28 and hit a car on the opposite carriageway at 19:15.

Roads were closed for several hours both scenes were examined.

In the A28 crash, the man was driving a BMW along Canterbury Road towards Birchington at Nicholas-at-Wade when it crashed with a Fiat Punto.

The Punto driver, a 49-year-old woman from Thanet, was taken to hospital.

Kent Police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
