Tractor crash car driver dies near Lenham

A man has died after a car he was driving collided with a tractor pulling a trailer in Kent.

The 29-year-old man was driving a blue Citroen Saxo in Faversham Road, near Woodside Green, Lenham, at about 09:55 GMT on Sunday when the crash happened.

A green tractor with a blue trailer was travelling along the road from Doddington at the time.

The driver of the Saxo died at the scene and the road was closed for more than five hours.

Kent Police said they were keen to speak to the driver of a black and tan coloured Ford Ranger Wildtrack which was towing an Ifor Williams trailer seen in the area.
