Pedestrian, 89, hit by biker in Walderslade dies

An 89-year-old man has died after he was hit by a motorcyclist as he tried to cross a road in Kent.

The pensioner was knocked down in Dargets Road, Walderslade, at about 17:15 on Saturday.

He was taken to King's College Hospital, in south London, along with the male rider of the motorbike.

The biker was later released from hospital, but the pedestrian died from his injuries. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact police.
