Edenbridge War Memorial Hospital reopens after flooding

A Kent hospital which closed after flooding brought down the facility's computer and telephone systems is reopening.

Patients at the Edenbridge and District War Memorial Hospital were moved after the basement flooded on 24 September.

The hospital was also closed to outpatients.

The minor injuries and outpatients units have reopened, and inpatient beds are due to reopen on Wednesday, Kent Community Health NHS Trust said.

Patients had been moved to Sevenoaks and Tonbridge during the closure.
