Cyclist dies after lorry collision in Gillingham

A cyclist has died after he was knocked off his bike following a collision with a lorry in Gillingham.

The 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after he suffered serious injuries during the crash in Medway Road.

Kent Police said his mountain bike collided with a silver DAF lorry at 11:25 BST.

Offices from the serious collision investigation unit have appealed for witnesses to the collision.
