Two more face Gillingham car wash charges

A man and a woman have been charged with perverting the course of justice following shootings in Gillingham, Kent more than a year ago.

Two men, aged 27 and 34, were seriously injured in the shootings at a car wash in Railway Street on 12 April 2012.

A 25-year-old man from Chatham, Kent, has already been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

A 28-year-old man from Gillingham and 22-year-old woman, from Croydon, south London have now also been charged.

All three are due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on 12 August.
