Truck driver dies in M2 four-vehicle crash

M2 crash The M2 was closed for more than eight hours while the vehicles were recovered

A truck driver has died in a crash involving two lorries and two cars on the coast-bound M2 in Kent.

The man, believed to be in his 50s and from Kent, was declared dead at the scene between junction two for West Malling and three for Maidstone.

A man and a woman in a Mercedes car suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene on Wednesday.

The road was closed until 02:00 BST while the crash was investigated and the vehicles recovered.
