Cannabis found in raid on Horton Kirby scrap yard The cannabis resin was found by police during a two-day search of the scrapyard in Horton Kirby

Parts from at least 40 cars thought to have been stolen, along with drugs and firearms, have been discovered by police at a scrapyard in north Kent.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigating reports of a stolen vehicle raided the site in Horton Kirby on Wednesday.

A container with an estimated 750 kg of cannabis resin and two firearms was also discovered on the premises.

A cannabis growing set up was found too. No arrests have been made.
