Footage of a car driving through a town with a passenger apparently leaning out of the window and firing pellets from a slingshot at other vehicles has been posted on YouTube by Kent Police.

Officers have been working for more than a month to trace the vehicle, believed to be a Peugeot 206.

It follows more than 30 reports of damage to vehicles in four days in May.

Forensic experts have been testing pellets and screw nuts found in cars that were damaged across west Kent.

Police said incidents were reported in 12 roads in Tunbridge Wells and further reports came from Pembury, Wateringbury, Yalding and East Farleigh.
