Three Aylesham boys held over firearm incident

Three teenage boys have been arrested after they were spotted with a suspected firearm at a Kent railway station.

The boys, aged 14, 15 and 16, from Aylesham, were reported to Kent Police at just after midday on Wednesday.

After a search of the town's railway station, officers found an imitation firearm.

The teens were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in a public place. No one was injured during the incident.
