Whitstable human bones 'from historic burial' site

Human bones that were found near homes in Kent are believed to have come from an ancient burial site.

The skeletal remains were discovered by workers of a construction company on a site in Whitstable.

The find was made in Doggerel Acre at about 14:30 BST on Thursday, police have revealed.

Kent Police believe the bones are hundreds of years old. Experts are carrying out tests to find out how long they have been at the site.
