Maidstone crash: Boy, 10, remains in hospital

A 10-year-old boy remains in a serious condition in a London hospital after being hit by a car in Kent.

The boy was crossing Sutton Road, Maidstone with friends at 15:45 GMT on Saturday when he received serious injuries in the accident.

Another 10-year-old boy received minor injuries and was admitted to a local hospital. Three other boys were uninjured.

The Suzuki Swift car was travelling in the direction of Sutton Valance.

Kent Police have renewed their appeal to anyone with information about the accident to come forward.
