Drivers sought after cyclist injured in Westerham

Police in Kent are trying to establish how a cyclist who was left with serious head injuries came off his bike.

The incident happened just before 10:00 GMT on Westerham Hill, in Westerham.

Officers said he was travelling from the direction of Biggin Hill when he was "caused to fall off his bicycle" near the crossroads junction.

A number of motorists were seen in the area at the time and have been urged to contact police, in particular, the occupants of a red Volkswagen Golf.
