Kevin McKinley shooting: woman charged with murder

Overy Street Overy Street was sealed off while police investigated the killing

A man and a woman have appeared in court in connection with the death of a man in a Dartford street.

Michaela Sargeant, 24, is charged with murdering Kevin McKinley, 32, who was found shot in Overy Street on Tuesday.

Lewis Wickenden, 25, is charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition and assisting an offender.

Ms Sargeant and Mr Wickenden, who both live in Overy Street, were remanded in custody by Medway magistrates until 19 February and 28 March respectively.

Mr McKinley, who police believe came from nearby Stone, was found suffering from a bullet wound.

He died later in hospital.
