Pair admit Chatham Hill car boot kidnapping

Two men have admitted kidnapping a man who was found by police in the boot of a vehicle in Kent.

The man, who was not named, was freed after he phoned police from inside the car in Chatham Hill, Chatham.

His phone was cut off during the incident on 27 September but officers managed to release him.

Jamal Raymon, 38, of Chaucer Road, Gillingham, and Stephen John Bates, 31, of Balmoral Road, Gillingham, pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court.

Raymon, who is also known Kamran Kamari, and Bates were remanded in custody to be sentenced at a later date.
