Broadstairs teenager assaulted and robbed 'at gunpoint'

A 15-year-old boy has been assaulted and robbed in Kent by a gang of youths who appeared to be wielding a gun.

Police said the teenager had been in Pierremont Park, Broadstairs, with friends on Saturday night when he was approached by four or five males.

He was assaulted and his Ipod and mobile phone were taken.

Officers were immediately sent to the area and a search was conducted, but the suspects were not found. The incident happened at about 21:00 BST.
