Ramsgate assault: Man in life threatening condition

A 27-year-old man is in a life threatening condition in hospital after he was assaulted in a Kent town.

The attack happened at just after 14:15 BST on Sunday in Harbour Parade, Ramsgate.

Police said he was initially taken to a local hospital but his condition deteriorated and he was transferred to one in London.

Two 18-year-old men, one from Margate and the other from Ramsgate, have been arrested and are in police custody.
