Cliftonville Lido: Teenager falls through roof

A 15-year-old girl has been seriously injured after falling 6m (19ft) through the roof of a partly-derelict building in Kent.

The teenager fell through the roof the Cliftonville Lido on Ethelbert Terrace in Cliftonville, Margate.

Police and fire crews were called to the scene at 22:45 BST on Saturday.

The girl, who has a suspected fractured pelvis and wrist, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford where she is due to have surgery.
