Boat on M20 closes three lanes to traffic

Boat on motorway About 40m (131ft) of the central reservation barrier was damaged in the accident

A boat which fell off its trailer has caused lane closures on the M20 in Kent.

The boat was being towed London-bound when it fell onto the road between junction 2 for Wrotham and the M25 Swanley interchange at about 12:20 BST.

Two London-bound lanes and one coast-bound lane remained closed after the accident was cleared to repair damage to about 40m (131ft) of the barrier.

The lanes are expected to reopen after 21:00 BST. No one was injured.
