Swanley Natalie Jarvis murder: Adam Whelehan charged

A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 23-year-old woman in Kent.

Adam Whelehan of Roseberry Avenue in Sidcup, south-east London, is due to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court this morning.

Natalie Jarvis was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to Swanley Village Road, Swanley, on Wednesday night.

A post-mortem examination found she died from stab wounds to the neck.

Police want to speak to men seen on a moped at the time of the attack, who were reported to be shouting out to passers by.

"We would like to speak to these men, but I would stress that we don't believe they were involved in this incident," said Det Insp Gavin Moss.
