Two men arrested in Sittingbourne over knife on train

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray following an incident on a train in Kent.

The Southeastern train had to be stopped at Sittingbourne station at about 20:20 BST on Saturday after a man was seen brandishing a knife.

British Transport Police said witnesses had reported that the weapon was being used "in a threatening manner".

A spokesman said Kent Police were alerted and the men were arrested after being found in a nearby garden.
