Maidstone smokers offered shopping vouchers
Smokers who are fined £75 for dropping cigarette ends in Maidstone are to be offered £50 shopping vouchers if they complete a quit-smoking course and give up.
The vouchers will be funded by Maidstone Borough Council and the NHS.
The council says 97% of litter offences are smoking related.
