Longest wooden toy train track record claimed

The world record for the longest wooden toy train track is being claimed by a team of children and staff of a toy company from Folkestone.

The group built a track 2,012m long in seven hours at Chatham Historic Dockyard using 11,000 wooden pieces.

The previous record of 1,650m was set in Japan.
