A two-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a third-floor window in Kent.

Emergency services were called to the three-storey building in Cheriton Road, Folkestone at about 14:15 BST.

Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance were first at the scene and alerted police.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said the child was taken to King's College Hospital in London. She said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The incident is being investigated by Kent Police, which said one of the boy's parents was there at the time.
