French law means all drivers to carry two breathalysers
A new law is coming into force in France on Sunday making it compulsory for drivers to carry two breathalyser kits in the car at all times.
But many motorists leaving Dover for the Continent were unaware of the new laws.
An on-the-spot fine could be imposed in France for anyone found breaking the new rules.
