A 54-year-old man who was killed when two cars were involved in a head-on crash in Kent has been named by police.

Stanley Draper, of West Malling, died when his Mitsubishi truck collided with a BMW on Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, on 31 May.

The 56-year-old BMW driver, from Orpington, south-east London, also suffered serious injuries. His condition is said to have stabilised.

Kent Police have appealed for witnesses to contact officers.

Det Sgt Scott Lynch said: "We believe there was a convoy of six cars travelling north along the road prior to the collision and not all of the drivers in this convoy have yet been in contact with us.

"We would therefore appeal to them or anyone travelling home at the same time this evening to think back to last week and anything they may have seen.

"This was a serious collision in which one man died and another sustained life-threatening injuries.

"It's therefore imperative that those with information come forward so we can get the best picture of what may have happened."
