Gravesend woman 'killed by stallion' in Dartford

A woman is believed to have been killed by a horse in a field close to a Kent hospital.

The body was discovered in the field in Darenth Wood Road close to the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford at about 10:00 BST on Friday.

A Kent Police spokesman said the death of the 53-year-old woman from Gravesend is not being treated as suspicious.

He said: "It is believed that a stallion in the field where the body was found may have caused her death."
