Shepway residents vote on changes to free parking
Residents in Shepway have voted to reject proposals to abolish free parking in some areas.
Three parish polls on changes to parking in Folkestone, Sandgate and Hythe, took place in the Shepway District Council area on Thursday
Residents in all three areas rejected the council's proposals to introduce parking charges for Folkestone and the rest of Shepway.
The overall turnout for all three polls was 6.67%, according to the council.
