Three people arrested over the death of a man found in woodland in Kent have been released without charge.

Colin Birch, 44, of Erith, south-east London, was found dead in a wooded area near Wood Lane, Dartford, on 30 July. It is believed he had been hanged.

Two women, aged 34 and 35, and a man, aged 41, were arrested and bailed earlier this month.

The three answered bail on Friday but were told by Kent Police that they would not face any charges.

A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of Mr Birch's death was suspension.
