Man and woman killed in East Yorkshire car crash

A man and a woman, believed to be in their 70s, have died in a car crash in East Yorkshire.

Humberside Police said their car was in collision with another vehicle on on the A164 in Driffield earlier on Wednesday.

A man and a woman in the other car both received serious injuries, which police have described as not life-threatening.

The crash happened at about 13:15 BST and the road is expected to be closed for several hours.
