Humberside Police clampdown on illegal road users

A month-long police purge of illegally-driven vehicles on the roads of East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire is under way.

Uninsured drivers and vehicles with no current MoT certificate or tax disc are being targeted by Humberside Police.

A force spokesman said the focus during February was to "proactively target these individuals"

Humberside Police said a third of all vehicles they had previously seized were uninsured.
