Lewis Dale retrial to take place after jury discharged

The trial at Hull Crown Court of a teenager accused of killing his grandmother has ended after the jury in the case was discharged for legal reasons.

Lewis Dale, 17, from Summergangs Road in Hull, denies the murder of his grandmother and the attempted murder of his grandfather.

A decision on the date of the retrial will be made next week.

It is expected to take place early next year.
