The Prince of Wales is to visit an East Yorkshire village which was hit by flooding over Christmas.

On 23 July, Prince Charles will meet residents and fire crews who tackled the floods, Clarence House said.

He and the Duchess of Cornwall will also visit Bridlington and Withernsea where they will meet fishermen and representatives of local charities.

They will also visit Bridlington Priory to mark its 900th anniversary.
