Man bailed after woman found dead in Hull flat

A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a flat in Hull has been released on bail.

The body of 40-year-old Dawn Warburton was found in a property on Westbourne Avenue at about 21:00 BST on Saturday.

Police said she had sustained a compression to the neck and her death was being treated as "unexplained".

The 39-year-old man was released on bail late on Tuesday evening while inquiries continued into Ms Warburton's death, Humberside Police confirmed.

Tributes have been paid to Ms Warburton and messages of condolence were left on her daughter's Facebook page.

Alisha Maria wrote: "RIP dawn sleep tight."

Chelsey Temperton wrote: "You've just gotta remember the good memories... it's so so sad but she will always be here in spirit..."

Family liaison officers are supporting Ms Warburton's family, police said.
