Hull FC's Brett Seymour out of hospital after car crash

Rugby league player Brett Seymour has been released from hospital after being involved in a car crash on Sunday, Hull FC said.

The 28-year-old's blue BMW overturned after it struck two parked vehicles on Itlings Lane, Hessle, East Yorkshire, police said.

The club confirmed the player had been placed on leave with immediate effect.

Seymour suffered no serious injuries, the club said. He was treated at Hull Royal Infirmary.
