Police investigating the death of an antiques dealer in East Yorkshire have been given more time to question a man arrested on suspicion of his murder.

Peter Battle, 56, was found with head injuries at his home at Whisker Cottage, Full Sutton, near Pocklington, on 7 February.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in Malton on Monday. Police now have until this evening to question him.

It is the second extension granted by magistrates.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information about Mr Battle to come forward.
