Eastrington teenage cyclist death: Woman charged

A 67-year-old female driver has been charged in connection with the death of a teenage cyclist in East Yorkshire.

Samuel Joe Brown was with another boy on the B1230 Hull Road at Eastrington on 6 September when he was hit.

The woman has been charged with causing death by careless driving whilst over the prescribed limit for alcohol, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to report it.

Police said she would appear before Beverley magistrates on 26 February.
