M62 closed in East Yorkshire after tanker overturns

The M62 motorway is closed in East Yorkshire after a vehicle overturned, says the Highways Agency.

The road is expected to remain closed until Saturday morning in both directions between junction 34 near Selby and junction 35 near Goole.

It is believed a tanker overturned and spilled fuel across the carriageway.

The closure caused the cancellation of a rugby league match between Hull FC and Bradford Bulls after the teams were caught up in the delay.
