Crowds watch Hull Orchard Park flats demolition
A crowd has watched the demolition of a high-rise block of flats on a Hull estate.
Bridgeman House was one of five tower blocks on the Orchard Park estate which are destined to be destroyed by 2015.
They are being demolished to make way for a £15m housing scheme which will include 115 new homes.
Some residents of a neighbouring block watched the demolition from the roof of their building. Surrounding roads were closed and an exclusion zone was put in place for safety reasons.
