More than 30 WWII incendiary devices found at South Cave

More than 30 World War II incendiary devices have been found in a wood in East Yorkshire.

The discovery was made after Humberside Police took a call from a metal detector user on Friday who had found one of the devices near South Cave.

The police said a bomb disposal unit attended and found 36 devices on Saturday morning.

A controlled explosion was carried out on the devices, which were bottles containing flammable liquid.
