Lee Woodhouse dies in Pocklington turf-cutting accident

A man has died in an accident involving a turf-cutting machine near Pocklington in East Yorkshire.

Thirty-year-old Lee Woodhouse suffered multiple injuries in the incident in a field off Feoffee Lane on Tuesday afternoon, Humberside Police said.

Mr Woodhouse, of Wilberfoss, was working for commercial turf producer In-Turf, who said he was "an exemplary employee who will be much missed".

Police and the Health and Safety Executive were investigating.
