Teenage pedestrian killed in collision in Bewdley

A 16-year-old boy has died after being in collision with a car outside West Midland Safari Park.

The boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was sadly later pronounced dead, police said.

The incident, involving a blue Citroen Xsara, happened on Spring Grove, Bewdley, shortly before 18:00 on Sunday.

Anyone with information about the incident was urged to contact West Mercia Police.
