Worcester city centre 'serious disorder' leads to four arrests

The Foregate, Worcester Police said more arrests may follow after CCTV footage has been studied.

Four men have been arrested after what police called "a serious incident of disorder" in Worcester involving more than 50 people.

West Mercia Police said a number of their officers were injured in the disturbance in The Foregate, at about 03:45 BST.

The men arrested are aged between 18 and 31 and from the south Worcestershire area, a spokesman said.

Police said more arrests may follow after CCTV footage has been studied.
