24 August 2014 Last updated at 10:39 BST

About 50,000 people are expected to attend the Flavours of Herefordshire food festival over the Bank Holiday weekend, with a boost to the economy estimated at about £3m.

The festival is in its ninth year, but has previously been held in the winter over two days.

All the food has been produced in Herefordshire, and local businesses also report an increase in trading.

BBC Midlands Today's Yvonne Brissett reports.
