Sex attacker sought over Worcester assault

Police are hunting a sex attacker after a late-night assault on a woman in Worcester.

The woman was attacked while walking near to the Commandary on Bath Road, at about 02:00 BST on Saturday 9 August.

The suspect spoke to her using sexually inappropriate language and then assaulted her and exposed himself, West Mercia Police said.

The attacker was slim, aged 45 to 55, about 5'9" tall with very short grey hair and spoke with a local accent.

He was dressed in blue denim jeans and a buttoned blue/grey shirt.

PC Howard Fletcher, the investigation officer, said: "This is an extremely serious incident which has left the victim highly shaken and as such we are very keen to gain information which may aid us in finding the suspect."
