Dormington dog walker killed in car crash is named

A dog walker who died after being hit by a car in a Herefordshire village, has been named.

Police said Josephine Wilson, 66, from Dormington, was killed after a crash involving a Honda Civic near Dormington Church, at about 16:25 BST on Friday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said she died on her way to hospital. Her dog also died following the crash.

The road was closed until about 21.30 BST. West Mercia Police said investigations were ongoing.
