Hereford man admits stabbing in Brewers Arms pub

A man has admitted stabbing another man at a Hereford pub in November.

Gipsy Smith, 57, from Nover Wood Drive in Fownhope, admitted wounding the victim, who was in his 30s, at the Brewers Arms on Eign Road.

He also admitted charges of affray, common assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

A further charge of threatening to kill was dropped by the prosecution at Hereford Crown Court, as were two charges against Dawn Smith, 42.

Sentencing will take place on 10 June.
