Redditch murder inquiry after fatal stabbing

A 21-year-old woman has died after being stabbed in Worcestershire, sparking a murder inquiry.

Kirsty Wright was taken to hospital, where she died on Sunday morning.

West Mercia Police said officers were called to an address on Evesham Road in Redditch on Saturday morning.

A 29-year-old man who was arrested at the scene on Saturday remains in police custody and detectives said they were not looking for any other suspects.

The force added that there was "no risk to the general public".
